Dr. Han received his Bachelor of Arts Cum Laude from Cornell University, Doctor of Medicine from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, and residency training at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Vascular Surgery. Dr. Han was awarded the Michael Silane, M.D. Traveling Scholarship, which allowed him to work with the newest, cutting-edge endovascular technologies not yet available in the United States.

Dr. Han’s research interests include the use of innovative endovascular technologies to provide optimized treatment for arterial aneurysms and dissections throughout the body, cerebrovascular disease, vasculopathies, limb-threatening arterial insufficiency, venous disease, and dialysis access creation and maintenance. His work has been published extensively in peer-reviewed publications and presented at conferences across the country.

He is the author of several book chapters and educational training modules. Additionally, Dr. Han has a strong interest in the surgical education of medical students and residents and was appointed as the Co-Director for the Surgery Clerkship at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Han's clinical interests span all areas of vascular medicine and surgery. He is skilled in both open and endovascular surgical techniques, which are combined to provide the best individualized treatment options to address each unique patient.
