Stephen E. Hohmann, M.D. is a board-certified general and vascular surgeon. He is the program director for the vascular surgery fellowship at Baylor Scott and White Health in Dallas, Texas. He has a particular interest in the creation and maintenance of hemodialysis access. He has been performing endoAVF creations with WavelinQ™ since 2019. He has functioned as a trainer and speaker for the device.

Dr. Hany Rezk is a general and interventional nephrologist based in Nashville, TN. He completed a residency in Internal Medicine followed by a fellowship in General and Interventional Nephrology at the University of Alabama in Birmingham in 2007.

Dr. Rezk has a special interest in outcomes driven, minimally invasive access care for patients with end-stage renal disease. He has been creating fistulas using the WavelinQ™ Endo AVF technique since 2021. Dr. Rezk is actively involved in medical education and training, serving as a mentor and instructor to medical students as well as physicians. He is also a member of several professional organizations, including the American Society of Nephrology and the American Society of Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology.

Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Rezk is also a dedicated husband and father to three boys who enjoys spending quality time with his family.

C. Matthew Mitchell, M.D. is a board certified Vascular Interventional Radiologist with Vascular and Interventional Specialists, a division of Radiology Associates of North Texas. As part of a large subspecialized group, his practice incorporates all types of endovascular procedures with a particular focus on dialysis access. He has been performing endoAVF creations with WavelinQ™ since 2019.

Join subject matter experts for a live interactive two hour didactic session that will provide you with the essential background information and theoretical knowledge required for endovascular creation of an arteriovenous fistula.

At the conclusion of this webinar, you will be able to: 

  • Identify endoAVF anatomy, including deep venous anatomy
  • Understand how the deep venous anatomy communicates with the superficial system
  • Determine appropriate endoAVF candidates
  • Identify the best procedural approach for identified candidate
  • Understand the key features and functionality of the WavelinQ™ EndoAVF System
  • Demonstrate the procedural steps for endoAVF creation
  • Plan appropriate patient follow-up
  • Determine patient cannulation option(s)

Participation in this two-hour webinar is a training requirement. If you are more than 20 minutes late, you will be required to reschedule your participation for a future date.
